The Cot has been well and thoughtfully renovated and equipped. It has bright sunny living accommodation, comfortable bedrooms and a particular bonus - a sunny garden that looks out over the village and the sea.
We stayed here for the 2nd part of our honeymoon and were so pleased with our choice. Clean, comfortable and cosy. The attention to detail in the cottage was great, exactly what you'd hope for in a cottage. We were greeted by Simon down by the parking space, who introduced us to a couple of local with a beer-just what we needed after a very long drive. The village is lovely, all the locals are very friendly and helpful. Old Cellars restaurant was amazing, we ate there pretty much every night. The local pub is good for drinks and evening entertainment. There is a local taxi driver who we used a few times to head off to Porthleven and Coverack, def recommend contacting him-details in the guest book. Overall a wonderful stay, the garden at the top has epic views over the village, couldn't of asked for anything better.
A welcome of home baked mince pies and an invitation to join in the fun of the christmas day sea swim. What a fab way to spend christmas in the beautiful Cot. With it snug log burner, summer house with views over the cove, our family celebrated our second happy and relaxing christmas here................ hope to come back for many more. Thankyou.
'We enjoyed our stay very much. We come to Cornwall each year at least once; our stay at The Cot was our most comfortable and our most atmospheric yet.
My wife says that it was the perfect location and high quality accommodation.
My eldest son says that it was a great cottage in a beautiful village.
My youngest son gave a resounding thumbs up!'
'A fantastic week in a fantastic, beautiful cottage. We are so happy to have found The Cot and we will come back to this little slice of Cornish heaven. Fiona, Simon, you have been complete stars - thank you for making us feel so very welcome and at home here, thank you too for the flowers and the delicious cream tea. You have done magical things with this cottage.'
'A beautiful, characterful, quaint & cosy cottage, beautifully decorated and appointed - thank you for the personal touches of fresh flowers, cream tea and milk on arrival. We have fallen in love with The Cot and Cadgwith's charm with its unspoilt, picture postcard higgledy, piggledy cottages and lanes to the rugged coastline, stunning views and cliff top walks. We don't want to leave ...'
Had a wonderful 4 days at the Cot, New Year 2010. Really enjoyed the cosy, well equipped cottage, lovely walks along the coastal path from the front door and the hospitality, great food and friendliness of the locals and other visitors at the pub, just 20 yards down the road. Cadgwith is truly unique being a beautiful Cornish village which is still real, with a strong local working community. ‘
'We had a lovely time. The cottage is beautiful and we have already recomended it to various people and we will also return ourselves'.
'We had a lovely stay. The cottage was very clean, cosy, well furnished and comfortable. The location was excellent and very peaceful. We would like to thank you for providing such excellent facilities and we are sure that we will be staying in Cadgwith again sometime in the near future'.
