A 16th century thatched cottage with a smuggler's hidey-hole, a fisherman's dwelling with beams of shipwreck timber, a creekside house at the head of the Helford River and a light, airy garden bungalow in a rural hamlet ...
all charming cottages on the unspoilt Lizard peninsula - a land set apart from the Cornish mainland, of towering cliffs, sandy coves, pretty fishing villages and wild, windswept heath.
We privately own, market and manage our cottages, we believe this means we care more about our property and that we can offer our customers a personal and superior standard of service. With four child-friendly cottages to choose from - each totally unique, lovingly decorated and equipped with everything you might need for a carefree holiday, our guests have told us that arriving at our cottages feels like coming home.

"Having stayed in quite a few excellent cottage rentals I can confidently state that this one stands out head and shoulders above the rest. The Cot has character and history combined with 21st Century comfort and facilities that leave one enchanted. Hideaway nooks and crannies used for contraband or to evade press gangs combine with low beamed ceilings and doorways suggesting how the dwellers of the past lived here. It's a glass throw away from the Arms which itself is wall to wall charactuer and characters from the mayor with curiously trimmed trouser bottoms to the singers and artists who evoke a sense of times gone by. If I have one negative to throw into the mix for balance it is that we had to leave. This is a home from home and then some. Stay, embrace the vibe and leave enriched by the experience. I feel privileged to have been allowed a glimpse into this world. Thank you" Trevor, October 2016
